TRANSLATION
In addition to my editing work I also translate texts into English from Portuguese, Spanish and French.

The biggest projects I have undertaken in recent years were two non-fiction books by Brazilian writers. Both were in the area of current affairs: the memoirs of a former Brazilian foreign minister, Celso Amorim, published in English by Hamilton Books in 2017; and a Brazilian journalist's first-hand account of the Libyan civil war of 2011, published in English by Palgrave Macmillan in 2014.

I have also translated a huge variety of documents for the Brazilian embassy in London.
Fees
For translations I charge according to the number of words the document contains. For books and other very long texts I am willing to negotiate a slightly lower rate than for other documents.
